Cindy appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, in Woman's World Magazine, and in several commercials to tell how she lost over 107 pounds.  People are enchanted by this hometown beauty, but what people really want to know is...how did you do it?  Cindy always tells the same story:

"C'mon", I heard a voice behind me say.  "She's been a non-breather for a couple of minutes now." I could feel my CPR class staring at me, waiting.  I looked at the dummy on the floor.  Even if I could kneel, there was no way I was getting all 250 pounds of me up again.  Not without help. "C'mon, Cindy," the voice urged, "You're running out of time to save her life."  And my own, I thought in sad embarrassment.

Growing up, I saw dieting as something women just did.  So even in high school, at 5' 7" and 135 pounds, I ate salads and skipped meals.  And I'd lose... but, oh, how I craved real food.  I'd end up bingeing on candy bars and chips.  That's why my weight constantly yo-yoed between 125 pounds and 150 pounds.  After graduation, the needle on the scale stopped bouncing and started climbing.  Dieting seemed impossible after I got married.  Anxious to please, I'd make my husband's favorite foods: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits.  "What's happening to you?", I'd ask myself, standing on the scale, watching the needle climb past 160...180...190.

Soon I had a great excuse not to diet: "I'm eating for two." After my second son was born, I weighed 250 pounds and was a size 26!  Meanwhile, my marriage was ending. "What's the point of losing the weight now?", I'd think scooping out another bowl of ice cream.  The bigger I got,  the angrier I became with myself.  The angrier I became, the more I ate. I was on a merry-go-round that I couldn't step off.

"But maybe", I told myself, "if I had a goal to strive for, I could be happy"  I thought being a nurses' assistant would be a wonderful career choice because of flexible hours.

And now I stood, in utter humiliation in my CPR class.  How can I help others, when I can't even help myself?  I was anguished, I had to lose the weight.  How could I stop the cravings and eat healthy?

That's when I saw the ad in the paper: "Stop the cravings...finally lose weight."  I wanted to know more so I dialed the number to DHN.  The nutritional advisor told me all about how their weight management products could aid me in living a healthier life.  They would help me curb my appetite and boost my metabolism.  It was worth a try!

Soon, I started on the DHN weight management products and soon I was shocked to hear myself say, "No thanks," to sweets.  I was losing weight, in the first month, I lost 12 pounds! Then another 12 pounds in the second month!

"You look pretty," my sons would say as the months passed and I shopped for size 20...18...12...I didn't just feel different physically; I felt confident again.  My fiancé, Bob, says on the night we met, it was my confidence that attracted him.

Thanks to the DHN products that aided my resolve to live healthier, I will be wearing a size 10 wedding dress now that I am 107 pounds thinner!
